THE SUMATRAN TIGER
Why is this animal endangered
The Sumatran Tiger is endangered because over the years humans have been hunting the tigers down for things like T.C.M.(Traditional Chinese Medicine), using skins to sell for that expensive but nice hallway rug and the other reason being is land clearing for that block of land for the house you've always wanted or that 30 acre farm.

How can we safe guard it's existence?
There many ways that we can safeguard it's existence. Take Dubbo Zoo for example, they are undergoing a breeding program there to bring this tiger from the brink of extinction and the Indonesian Goverment can introduce laws making the forests of Sumatra national parks, hiring park rangers to patrol the parks keeping all loggers and poachers away. The Indonesian Government could also take the easy way out and hire all 'Militias' in E.Timor by putting them in charge of the tiger's habitat. This is done simply, the 'Militias' shoot any loggers or poachers that come within 100m. of the park.
